Here's some pictures that I took before we left.

 Luckily the stuff we sent from Lux arrived more or less just before midnight Saturday. We hadn't the time to pack up everything, thats why I show you some details. Some picture taken Saturday night and some Sunday morning just before our return to Lux.

Hola!

We are back in Lux after 10 days of hard work in Spain. Sorry for bad update on my blog but simply hadn't any time to blog :-(

Unfortunately we were behind schedule the first two days because the builders were not done with their work. And sadly Ikea delivered the furniture too late, yes its a bit mañana, mañana in Spain...... but they came.

Here you have the evidence, son and me, struggling with "Billy".

From orange to white

Hola!

We are slowly getting there.

We have now painted the house white, gone is the orange

 and apricot from the 80's. 

Yesterday evening Ikea came with some furniture so you can 

guess what we will do today.......

Puuhhh

After 3 days with hard work, we have decided to take this day off.

3 days with sanding, painting, cleaning, sanding again, more paint, we are exhausted. So today we will enjoy the sun and probably visit the romantic village of Mijas.

 Promise you more pictures of the project later this week.

New Konrad

Do you know that Konrad café has changed their interior?

Well, I went there today for a snack with my super nice girlfriend (yes, she always gives me positive energy this girl).

Love the vintage furniture and the cool Tolix chairs, and when the staff is smily and handsome it couldn't be better..........

Moving south

Late Saturday evening a moving truck came from Norway via Luxembourg heading south to Spain. We managed to fill it up with golf bags, coffee machine, TV,  a table, paintings, lamps plus hundreds of other small items. 

Hopefully our holiday house will be ready to move into in a couple of weeks.

I am so excited.

(the moving company seemed to be a bit more professional than the one on the picture, though :-))

Perfect lunch place

Daughter, husband and I went to the beautiful town of Trier yesterday, despite the super cold weather. We aimed for the cosy Coffee Fellows for bagels and coffee, I  really recommend this cafe in the historical building from 1230.

..... delicious.....

Mint & vintage

Finally! Finally I found some courage and guts to take the step. After thinking of this for almost a year I asked a shop in town if they would like to sell the cakestands that I make out of old vintage porcelain. And guess what! They were thrilled and delighted over my products.

So now my "alice in wonderlandish" cakestands are for sale in the absolutely fabulous shop called Ben&Pepper.

So take your citytrip to 21, Avenue de la Liberté, tomorrow if you have the chance.

New found

Bought this old wine ballon at the troc the other day, believe me, it was almost for free. With cherry blossom branches it gives me a hint of spring.

Would like to show you how the old "pouf", that I bought at the troc just before Christmas, looks like for the moment. I am pleased about the result and think it looks far better now than before.

I almost lost faith that king winter should show up in Luxembourg this year.

Well, the winter is here and we are preparing for a very cold weekend.
