Hola!

Having a great time in Spain.
Long time since the last post, but now I am connected so hopefully I can update my blog a bit more often.
For the moment I post this picture taken a few days
ago and from my parents balcony.

Take off!!!

Holiday is over in Norway, children here are back at school
and so is the autumn weather.
Luckily our vacation is not over yet.
Getting ready for take off to a warmer destination, so excuse me for not being  a reliable blogger the next two weeks.
Hasta la vista.....

Retro II

Another "treasure" from my grandmother, a dish from Stavanger Flint.
Perfect to serve some "tapas" on at a sunny summer day....

Retro I

Can't say that these 3 weeks I've had here in Norway has just been vacation inspired. After selling our house and my parents summerhouse, we have also working with emptying the houses (LOT of work). Most fun was it to find all sorts of pottery and things that came from my grandparents heritage, like these little old coffee cups made in Norway.
Looking forward so serve some strong espresso
on a Sunday brunch in these ones...

IKEA 2012

New inspiration landed in my parents mail box the other day.
Now I can start planning my new project, a house in Spain.
Looking forward to that....

Cousins on tour

By the sea....

My hometown Haugesund has shown herself from her best side the last days and during the festival.
Had fabulous days (and evenings/nights) with friends and family.

Cullum, sun and champagne

Who could say no to a Jamie Cullum concert and a "before party"?
Not me, no.
His latest CD is constantly on at my house so it was fab to see him live, and see him jumping on his piano. What a perfect start on the "Sildajazz" festival!!

A bus stop

Back in town after some days on an island in a fjord on the west coast of Norway.
On our way to a more populated area we passed by this fantastic bus stop.
This must be the best bus stop ever to wait for a bus (if there are any on this little island?) with self service of both white and red wine!!!
Welcome to Norway......

The Bakery

Have been in Norway for some days now, and life is slowly going back to normal after the tragedy.

Saturday we drove to a small place called Vikebygd where you will find "the best" bakery on the westcoast of Norway called "Plassabakeriet". In this little, red "hut" they make the best buns ever!
Only open on Saturdays you need patience, because "everybody" is after these goodies........
